NAV team arrived in Iraq to see our client LC Waikiki, with whom we have worked intensively since the beginning of the year. Our colleague Dusan Mitić traveled to Erbil, Iraq, to work with LC Waikiki’s finance team to solve operational tasks, close the year and create a new base for the next year.
The collaboration between IN2 and LC Waikiki, began last year, and continues very successfully, supporting the use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions as well as Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions in all the countries in which the company uses these solutions. It is a very complex system, which fully covers the back-office activities of the client, while retail stores use the official vertical addition to the solution, LS Retail, or other specialized solutions.
The business process takes place mostly in retail software since the company’s core business is a retail sale, but then complete billing and posting is done in the financial module of the Dynamics AX and NAV system.
As for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV solution, the financial module includes standard NAV functionality as well as localization functionality for all countries that are using this solution. The solution is adapted for all local financial regulations, for each country. IN2 is working on maintaining Dynamics NAV solutions for LC Waikiki, supporting users in day-to-day work, as well as improving and facilitating user experience, developing added automation, control and additional functionalities.

LC Waikiki uses the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 solution, implemented from 2010, first in the headquarters and then in countries where there are sales facilities. This software is used in all the company’s retail facilities, as well as for finance in countries where LC Waikiki has a representative office.
In some countries, another Microsoft ERP solution, AX 2012, is used for finance too, including localization functionality for all countries that are using this solution. The solution is adapted for all local financial regulations, for each country.
One of the biggest advantages of AX system is the ability to input information in one place and their automatic accessibility in all parts of the system. This factor reduces the risk of errors, enables managers and their teams access to identical data, faster, easier, and more efficient analysis and simplified process of appropriate decision-making in critical situations.
LC Waikiki and IN2 are also maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics AX solution, in countries where this solution is used. Besides providing support, Microsoft Dynamics AX module for Human Resources and Payroll module is in the implementation process.
